The number of places that carry shochu and/or awamori is growing quickly, but that doesn’t mean that the people selling it know what shochu and awamori are all about.
If you have any questions about specific shochu, then please respond to this thread. There are other folks out there that will be able to chip in with their preferences, tasting notes, and maybe even some food pairing suggestions!
