November 1-3: Shochu Street (Kagoshima City)

This is one the ultimate shochu party of the year! It’s a three day festival of Kagoshima’s kokuto, sweet potato, and other shochu styles. Come sample shochu from all 100+ of Kagoshima Prefectures distilleries in a lively semi-outdoor setting in Tenmonkan, the heart of Kagoshima City’s nightlife district.

Details have not yet been released, but it might be a good idea to plan a trip to Kagoshima that coincides with November 1-3, 2019. There are no entry tickets. You just need to buy drink tickets upon arrival.
